White Christmas - December 2011

“WHITE CHRISTMAS” spins the romantically humorous tale of two Army friends who become a famous musical comedy team after World War II and eventually produce their own Broadway hits. They become involved with a sister act and the quartette proceed to Vermont to spend a white Christmas.

Bob and Phil discover the Inn at which they are staying is owned by their former commanding officer who is now retired. Waverly’s investment is in danger owing to the unseasonably warm weather and lack of snow. Winter sports enthusiasts are staying away.
To promote business over the Yuletide holidays, the boys bring their new show to the Inn for a pre-Broadway warm-up and advantage is also taken of the occasion to stage a re-union of the general’s war-time division. Romantic complications ensue, but all ends happily on Christmas Eve in a flurry of snowflakes.
